Nintendo Celebrates A Month of Mario

 

Growing up I remember playing Super Mario Bros and the most joy of it was collecting coins while running around. From July 26 to August 19th of 2012, Nintendo will be “Celebrating A Month of Mario” by offering the classic Mario games for really cheap.  Every week there will be another Mario classic on sale for the Nintendos DS.

Launch Schedule

July 26 – Aug. 1 Super Mario Bros. $3.99

Aug. 2 – Aug. 8 Super Mario Land $2 .99

Aug. 9 – Aug. 15 Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins $2.99

Aug. 16 – Aug. 22 Mario’s Picross $2.99

This launch is in preparation for the New Super Mario Bros 2  game that will be released on August 19, 2012. The game will be released for the Nintendos DS and currently available for preorder in local retail locations or online. There will be over 80 stages to go and rescue Princess Peach, who have been kidnapped by Koopalings. Play as Luigi or Mario as you go into Mushroom Kingdom to collect coins. If you have a friend who also have a Nintendos DS with a copy of the game you can partner up and go through the stages together.
