French StarCraft II pro player Ilyes “Stephano” Satouri, who was recently given a new deal with Evil Geniuses , has been suspended by his team without pay for the remainder of October. The reasons for his suspension as well as fines are the direct result of Stephano’s comments that were made during a broadcast, live online. Because of his suspension he will now miss DreamHack Bucharest and The GD Invitational.
So it’s been a really long time since I actually helped our cash strapped readers find cheap games. So here it is again, two games that don’t suck that are $10 for a full pack!
F.E.A.R. Ultimate Pack
I would never in my right mind purchase this, but for the price, I just might…
|You Save:||$34.98 (78%)|
Batman Akham Action Pack
I’ve played a little bit of the demos for both games, and found out that a detective game that combines crazy action sequences can’t be bad.
|You Save:||$39.99 (80%)|
Wow! Public test realms and Beta’s OH MY! If you’ve had itchy clicking fingers and have been foaming at the mouth thinking abut the next patch, patch 1.0.5 look no further!
You can now play it live on on the Public Test Realm! I have previously wrote article about some of the sneak peek items that I’ve been discovering on the Blizzard website. If you missed those articles, you can find them here and here.
The one thing that I think is absolutely brilliant, and I must say, that I don’t use those words often; is that as the test realm is updating the patch notes as things are changing.
You can find the full release here. and start twitching with anticipation.
There I describe the beauty of being able to freely control a games difficulty!
Blizzard did something amazing and is bringing that function back for those of you that remember if from Diablo II. Below are the simple and easy steps to enable the game changing setting.
This is taken directly from Diablo3.com, and you can find the article here.
Similar to the “Players X” command in Diablo II, Monster Power is a system designed to give players more control over how challenging enemies are in each difficulty.
Step 1: Open up the in-game Options menu (default: Esc) and select the Gameplay tab.
Step 2: Check the box next to “Monster Power” to enable it.
Step 3: Open up the Quest Selection window.
Step 4: Select your designed Monster Power level from the drop-down box near the bottom of the window, under “Difficulty Setting.”
Step 5: Once you’ve set your Monster Power level, quest, and difficulty, click “Select Quest” to confirm.
Step 6: Enter game and profit!
“No Monster Power” is the default setting. Each Monster Power level will increase the health and damage of monsters, and in return players will receive scaling bonuses to experience (for heroes levels 1-60) as well as boosts to Magic Find and Gold Find (for heroes in Inferno) which will stack above the 300% cap. The option to increase Monster Power will be available to all players starting at level 1 and can be adjusted separately for Normal, Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno difficulty.
(Note: If you join a multiplayer game, you will adopt the Monster Level of the party leader. When you leave the party, your Monster Power level will automatically revert back to your previous setting.)
Now don’t get all excited and start trying to do this in your game window, and then call me a liar, because this feature is currently only available in their test realm. But, don’t you worry your pretty little self, this is going to be included in the patch version of 1.0.5
Here comes another day of cheap stuff!
As promised, here is the list of apps!
To Celebrate the 25Billion downloads, we will be posting up every single day the apps that are for sale! Here are today’s apps.
In case you haven’t received an email from Google, here is the low down dirty details on how they plan to sucker everyone into downloading a few more apps over the next few days. I will be the first to say that I will play the sucker and buy tons of apps that I don’t need, and to be honest, might never even open. But hey it’s cheap!
- The Android Market hit 25Billion downloads
- Every day the apps will change, and we will be sure to post the apps, so look for a new update every day from us!
- In honor of 25Billion downloads, the Apps will be $.25
With all of the products on the market to do what any aspiring gamer wants to do, especially the ones that are looking for gamer stardom, or even just to be able to share their ability to “PWN SO HARD!” One of the arguably most important part of any computer build would be a graphics card. Many people choose NVIDIA or ATI based cards based on brand loyalty and the few differences between the cards.
Personally, I have an NVIDIA based card, and so does Grethade. Other people I know run ATI cards and love them, but for me, bang for the buck is where I am at and the NVIDIA 550ti with overclocking makes a great addition to my tower.
But what do you do when you need more? Right now I am looking for an answer to the burning quest for 3 monitors! Currently my three options are:
- Get a matching and identical NVIDIA card for an SLI setup to use NVIDIA Surround
- Do I ditch my current card in favor of a new edition to the NVIDIA family that supports NVIDIA Surround on a single card
- Leave NVIDIA, my familiar brand for new and uncharted waters of ATI in favor of their on board support for their EyeFinity support?
Right now I’m at a toss up, either way I’m going to spend over$100. What would you do? Let me know in the comments below!
Now I’m not one to brag, but my COD (Call of Duty) skills are on par, in my opinion, with some of the better people that I know. That isn’t to say that I haven’t been made to look like a rampaging newb, or haven’t fragged myself on accident. Everyone makes mistakes.
But, when you want to take it to the next level and start recording yourself and sharing your success and failures with the rest of the intrawebs, what devices do you turn to when you need to broadcast your console stardom?
Currently, I’m leaning towards purchasing a BlackMagic device, possibly an internal computer card, or maybe one of these beautiful looking boxes that you see in front of you.
It’s a little expensive at around $200, but there is always a price to pay when it comes to humiliation.
If you share your console gaming with the world, what do you use? Again, as always, leave your thoughts in the comments below.

So as a group we are poor, and by poor I mean broke, and by broke I mean anything free is cause for celebration. Unfortunately we did not get this software for free.
But, you as the victimized listeners get to enjoy the benefits of multi-track recording and the amazing production enhancements that this can bring to our final products through podcast and streaming through the new program that I drummed up called, “Mixcraft 6″
That is, when we all learn how to use this.
For now though, I am enamored by using my keyboard to play instruments and make people sing.
In the words of Geraldine, “Toodaloo!”
Soooo, if any of you remember an earlier article posting about the Paragon System which launched with the last patch, someone actually hit that cap…
For those of you that don’t know how much extra XP (experience points) you need to hit that level, let me break it down for you.
To get to the original level cap of level 60, which much of us have already reached, it would take 23 million XP
To pass the next 100 levels of the Paragon System you will need over 3 billion XP
For a visual reference:
Level 60 : 23,000,000 XP
Level 60 + 100 Levels of Paragon : 3,000,000,000 + XP
THAT’S A TON OF TIME WASTED.
When Diablo III first came out, people spent TONS of time playing this, to the point where a french company offered to send free vibrators to people if they sent a picture of them and their significant other playing the game.
Don’t believe me? Here is the link
Lastly, for your viewing pleasure, here is the list of his current gear.
From what I’ve heard, they used a different set of gear for leveling.
