Resident Evil 6 Bug Being Worked On
The development team behind Resident Evil 6 is back to work right away to try and fix a bug in the PSN version of the game. Currently, there is a bug that several users whom have pre-ordered the title from the Playstation Store is experiencing, namely that the game will not boot.
Capcom has issued a statement that they are at work trying to fix the issue, and that the best solution for the moment is to uninstall and reinstall the game. This temporary fix leaves the effected users unable to play multiplayer with owners of the disc, and users are unable to access re.net until a patch is released.
This issue comes as a result of a day one patch that was released. Resident Evil 6 is not the first title that befalls the bug fate of day patching, and several gaming commentators are pointing out that users of a new game may become fearful to download any day one patches, in fear that their newly claimed product will not work.
In regards to Resident Evil 6, the game takes place 15 years after the Raccoon City incident, taking players to the infected city of Tall Oaks, and to China.
Resident Evil 6 is out now on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3; a PC port is expected, however it has been said that a release is still “some way off.”

I”m picking up my copy tomorrow. I didn’t have time to play it earlier.
