Who remembers Tyrian 2000? I do! Not only did I waste countless hours playing this game; but I remember the joys of the secret tanks game firing random items at my friends and making them cry in the agony of defeat, and even playing two player in the campaign.

To bring back the good old days the website GOG.com has brought this classic back to life!

Obviously you have to create an account to download this game at GOG.com, but why wouldn’t you want to with deals like this floating around?

Lastly, the download is 10mb, so I’m pretty sure it’ll take you longer to install the game than to actually download it. Being that it’s only 10mb it ‘ll leave plenty of room for the continuation of your porn collection.

For those of you that have forgotten all of the fun cheat codes I have graciously added them below for you to peruse at your leisure.  ^___^

  • Impossible difficulty setting- At the difficulty selection screen, press [Shift] + G.
  • Suicide difficulty setting – Enable the “Impossible difficulty setting” code, then press [Shift] + ] at the difficulty selection screen.
  • Toggle debug mode – While playing the game, press [Backspace] + [F10]. If you entered the code correctly, the message “Cheaters always prosper” will appear.
  • Toggle invincibility – While playing the game, press [F2] + [F3] + [F6]. If you entered the code correctly, the message “Cheaters always prosper” will appear.
  • End Level – While playing the game, press [F2] + [F6] + [F7]. If you entered the code correctly, the message “Cheaters always prosper” will appear. Note: This does not effect Super Arcade ships or a game in Super Tyrian mode.
  • Random Colors – While playing the game, press [Backspace] + [Minus]. If you entered the code correctly, the message “Cheaters always prosper” will appear.
  • Random background music – While playing the game, press [Backspace] + [Scroll Lock]. If you entered the code correctly, the message “Cheaters always prosper” will appear.
  • Full pause screen – While playing the game, press [Backspace] + [Number Lock]. If you entered the code correctly, the message “Cheaters always prosper” will appear.
  • Cheat Codes – Enter one of the following codes at the main menu to activate the corresponding cheat function:

    I remember playing the shareware demo to this game and I always wanted to play the full version! Definitely going to have a good night tonight!
