Mists of Pandaria Beta Open, get your first look at your Pandaren!

The Mists of Pandaria beta is officially open!

Like the Burning Crusade, Mists of Pandaria introduces our new race, the Pandaren, in an introductory 1-10 zone. Most of the new content will be experienced between levels 85 and 90. Instead of having an overarching villain to anticipate fighting as in the previous expansions, Mists of Pandaria will emphasize the conflict between the Horde and Alliance. Blizzard did this to some effect during Wrath of the Lich King with Wintergrasp and the Coliseum, but the conflict has been largely ignored since vanilla. As a new Pandaren, you will begin as a neutral traveler and decide individually which faction to support.

Those who joined in on the Annual Pass (and are looking forward to their Diablo III license next month) will have first access to the MoP beta to keep them entertained in the meantime. After the Annual Pass players all have access, the general subscribing public will be invited to join in as well.

Also, good news! This beta begins with no disclosure agreement! That means that as soon as we can, we at NCG will be able to share content directly from the beta and keep you informed of the changes you can expect in the next expansion. Are you in?
